Step 1. Create Bridge Between iCloud and GDrive

  1.  Install the Google Drive app (if not installed) on the iPhone.

  2.  Tap on Google Drive App and sign in using your credentials.

  3. Open the FilesFiles App iOS app on the iPhone.
  4. Click on the Menu icon in the top right corner.

  5. Click on the Edit option.

  6. Toggle ON the Google Drive on the screen and click Done.

  7. Click on the Google Drive option from the Files App. But first, authenticate then move to the next step.

Step 2. Copy the Files from iCloud to GDrive

  1. Open the Files app and look for the iCloud option.
  2. Long press on the file or folder in iCloud; you want to move to Google Drive and click Copy.

  3. Go back to the main screen and tap the Google Drive icon.
    Now goto Google Drive
  4. Long press any blank space you find on the screen. Scroll down a bit if you don’t find any space
  5. Click on Paste.

Other Ways to Move iCloud Files to Google Drive

Similarly, you can move files from iCloud to Google Drive using the browser.

  1. Open iCloud.com on your iOS browser and log in with your Apple account.
  2. Download the files that you want to move to Drive.
  3. Now, open the Google Drive web on the iOS browser and log in with your G-Account.
  4. Upload the iCloud files downloaded to GDrive.

You can also use the Google Drive desktop app to back up iCloud files to Drive.

  • Install Google Drive desktop on your PC.
  • If you are using Mac, iCloud is, bydefault, available on Finder. (But in the case of Windows, you need to install iCloud.)
  • Now you can set the iCloud folders as the Backup folder in Drive for the Desktop app to upload Drive files to iCloud.
  • In Drive for Desktop app preferences, click on Add Folder option.CLick on Add Folder
  • Select a iCloud Drive Folder to Backup to Google Drive and click Open.
